When Charlie, a 13-year-old Arab, came to the Foundation two years
ago, he had had only rudimentary training and had been left alone in a field for quite some time without proper care. The
Humane Society took possession of him and transported him directly to Harmony Farm. He was very shy of humans when he first
came, but, after being rehabilitated, has since entered into training. He will soon take his place as one of our school
horses.
Charlie has a
distinct attachment to Lucy, another one of the Foundation's horses, and Annie and Mouse, who are now in Keyport. He is
already the favorite of one of our older students.
