Darlyn, a roughly 20-year-old Arab grade, is another victim of divorce within a horse-owning family. Although
she is very well trained, a physical disability limits her ability to be ridden and causes her to drag her hind legs, making
it impossible to find her a new home. A significant adhesion of unknown origins on her flank is the cause.
Darlyn has become an incredibly valuable school horse
for our intermediate and junior riders due to her excellent training. She is used only within her physical limitations like
all of the Foundation’s horses, and has developed an attachment with Johnnie.
