Tiger is a 34-year-old Arab/Quarter Horse mix that was a typical case of a youngster
"having to have a horse" and eventually tiring of it. Before coming to the Foundation, Tiger was a chronic founderer,
and we have to take special care to keep him from foundering again.
Tiger is possibly the finest school horse the Foundation has ever seen. He is extremely
well trained, responsive, calm, and willing. At 30 he was semi-retired and then finally fully retired at 32 so he could live
out the remainder of his life in comfort, but that has not stopped students from loving him. He is almost everyone's favorite
and still gets much attention. He is special friends with Chance, another Foundation horse.
