Blackjack is one of the newest members of the Foundation
herd. He is five years old and a Quarter Horse. He was acquired from a woman who was unable to afford feed for him and another,
older horse due to tough economic times, and was the first pick of a list of around 30 other horses in need. He was chosen
to fill the empty stall because of his youth, his friendly, gentle disposition, and his potential to fill the place of one
of the school’s older horses upon its retirement.
Unfortunately, Jack has little or no training. He
has just entered training under Foundation tutelage and will become another new challenge for the older students. However,
he is quite willing and shows promise.
